Most certificated firearms owners have limited options when it comes to secure storage — a single local RFD, or none at all. BBA Vault changes that.
We are building a vetted network of RFD-registered storage facilities accessible through a single platform. Search by location, check availability, and book a slot without making a single phone call. Where a facility supports it, you can arrange collection directly from your address.
Every booking is managed and processed through BBA. Compliance, certification checks, and RFD logging are standardised across the entire network — regardless of which facility you choose.
Approved Network
Every facility on the Vault network is RFD-registered and independently verified before listing. Standards are non-negotiable.
Managed by BBA
All bookings and payments are handled through BBA. You deal with one platform — not multiple individual RFDs.
Compliance Built In
Every intake and return is logged to RFD register standards. Records are retained for the statutory minimum of five years.
Drop-off or Collection
Where a facility supports it, you can arrange scheduled collection from your address. No need to transport the firearm yourself.
How It Works
Create Your Account
Register and verify your Firearms Certificate or Shotgun Certificate. We record certificate number, issuing force, and expiry date only — no physical copies retained.
Find Available Storage
Browse a map of Vault-approved RFD storage facilities. Filter by location, available slots, and drop-off or collection options. Choose the facility that suits you.
Book Your Slot
Select your dates and confirm your booking through the platform. Payment is handled by BBA — you never transact directly with the storage facility.
Drop Off or Arrange Collection
Where available, facilities offer scheduled collection from your address. Alternatively, drop off in person by appointment. All intakes are logged to statutory RFD standards at the point of receipt.
Manage Everything in Your Account
View your stored items, track storage periods, and arrange returns from your BBA account. Return is logged at the facility and confirmed to you. Items released to certificate holder or authorised representative only.
What We Store
Vault network facilities accept Section 1 firearms and muzzle-loading firearms for certificated customers. Section 5 storage is available at qualifying facilities to holders of appropriate Home Office authority.
Ammunition storage is not currently offered. Specific requirements are confirmed at the point of booking — not all facilities support all categories.

Data We Hold
We hold the minimum data required by law. No physical licence copies are retained. Customer data is encrypted at rest and not shared with third parties except as required by statute.
